Mark Wilkerson filed for concientious objector status after one tour in Iraq.  When he was denied he went AWOL instead of going back to Iraq.   After a year he turned himself in and spent five months in jail.  This is from a portrait series I am doing on Iraq War veterans who are resisting the war.
